October 6, 2022 - No School 10/10; Outdoor Movie 10/14; Fall Pictures

Greetings Sandpiper Families - I hope all are well and enjoying this gorgeous fall weather!  This email is all about upcoming dates including no-school for student dates, PTA events, and fall pictures!  As always, I appreciate your partnership and support!


Monday, October 10th no school for students - This is a whole school workday for teachers where we will be engaging in professional learning or other activities related to teaching and learning!

Report Cards will be sent home for Tracks 1, 2, and 3 on Friday, October 14th.


Friday October 14th: PTA-sponsored outdoor movie night showing Hotel Transylvania 3! Move will begin at 7pm - Blankets and Chairs are encouraged and families are welcomed to bring their own food/drinks. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult (older siblings do not count) - this is for everyone’s safety as school or PTA supervision is not provided. Thank you!


Friday October 21st: Fall Picture Day for Tracks 1 and 3!  Picture package information is here (Track 1 and 3 Picture Packages.pdf ) and will also be coming home next week - stay tuned! Finally, you can sign up for updates through this link:  Tracks 2 and 4: Please see below.


Monday, October 24th: no school for students (Track 4 families - please note your children will track back in on TUESDAY, October 25th).


Other dates to note:

November 7th - 18th: PTA Book Fair with family nights on November 9th and November 17th from 5:30-8:00pm in the media center.

Tuesday November 8th - No School (Election Day)

Thursday November 10th - Early Release (dismissal begins at 1:45)

Friday November 11th - No School (Veteran’s Day)
