7th Grade: Signs of Suicide(SOS) Prevention Program
ARMS Student Services will be offering the SOS Signs of Suicide Prevention Program to our 7th grade students in the coming weeks. This program educates students about the relationship between suicide and depression. Students are encouraged to seek help from trusted adults whether they have concerns about themselves or a friend.

Additionally, your student will be given a letter to take home with additional information (students who are tracked out, will receive their letter when they return). If you do not wish for your student to participate in the SOS program, there will be an option on the letter for you to indicate this.

VA families: the SOS program will be presented to in-person 7th grade students only, VA students will receive a different presentation approved for VA 7th grade students at a later date on the topic of physical and emotional safety.
