Upcoming Events

Wednesday, September 11, from 6-8 pm - Meet the Teacher Night

Parents, please plan to attend to meet each of your child’s teachers and learn about your child’s classes.  Make sure you bring your child’s schedule as you will move throughout the school for each class period, just as your child does.

Saturday, September 14, at 7:00 pm - GLHS Football Field

On Saturday, September 14, GLHS is hosting the marching bands of Cary, Green Hope, Green Level, and Panther Creek High School. For the first time in any of the school's history, all four marching bands will gather to present their 2019 productions for the community.

As we begin a season where all four Cary bands are in a year of transition, the directors want the community to know how much we value the camaraderie, respect, and support between the programs. We will see each other several times through the season at competitive events, and we are proud of the professionalism and sportsmanship that our students show each other at such events. As each of us has experienced, other similarly successful programs around the country do not share the same sentiment.

Thursday, September 19, from 5:30-6:00 pm - Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in the Auditorium

There will be speakers, a plaque celebration, and a video for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.  Please stay after the ceremony for cake and refreshments and the volleyball or football game.

Tuesdays throughout the School Year - Parent Roundtables

Parents are welcome to an open forum to discuss common questions, concerns, and conversations around being a parent of a high schooler.  These will be held at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on the following Tuesdays: October 1, November 5, December 10, January 14, March 3, and April 21.

Monday, October 7, during 1st period - Fall Pictures

All students will take their school pictures for the yearbook.  Families can pay for pictures online or bring payment (cash or check made out to Strawbridge) to the photographer on picture day.
