Critical Information for Semester 2
Parents and Students,
Below you will find important dates, information, and links that students and parents will need to access for a successful start to the second semester of the 2020-2021 school year.
Monday- Jan. 18th- Students will have access to their second-semester schedules in Powerschool. This How Do I Log Into My Classes? the information sheet should help students with logging into their Powerschool account should they need assistance. Students should look at their schedules to make sure they have all the classes they need. Students needing/requesting help with their schedules should contact their counselors using the following form: AFHS Schedule Change Request form
Tuesday- Jan. 19th- Students should check their student email to see if their teachers have emailed them about picking up materials for their second-semester classes. Details about Material Distribution can be found at this link: Material Distribution Flyer. Only students who have an email from their teacher instructing them to come to the school to pick up something needed for their class needs to attend. (We will also be distributing Underclassmen Pictures at this event. Please see the flyer for details.)
Wednesday- Jan. 20th- FIRST DAY OF CLASSES! Students should log into their classes to start their second-semester courses. Here are some important links to make this day a success:
AFHS Course Links Site- The course links will be LIVE on Tuesday, Jan. 19th! Some may be blank until then.
AFHS Second Semester Daily Schedule- This is a different schedule from first semester.
Students can find out if they have A, B,or C lunch here. Students should look at their Period Three class and find it on this lunch schedule to determine if they have A,B, or C lunch.
