EOG Proctors
We are looking for volunteer proctors for the EOG. Adult family members from any grade level are welcome to help. You must be approved as a WCPSS volunteer. Super Crocs Day for Track 4 Volunteers Needed!

WCPSS Family and Community Engagement Summit
The 2025 WCPSS Family and Community Engagement Summit will be Saturday, April 26, at The Summit at Capital Hills from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. The summit will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and more. All staff, families, and community members are invited to attend! We are looking for a few Sycamore parents to represent Sycamore Creek. If you would be interested in attending, please email Mrs. Brunson at mbrunson@wcpss.net .
Parent Panorama Survey
Please complete the WCPSS Panorama Survey if you have not already. surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family. Thank you to everyone who have already completed. Sycamore Creeks is striving to have the most parent surveys completed in WCPSS!
Help us make your child’s school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey through May 16th.
Tickets for Sycamore Creek’s Spring Musical
This year Sycamore Creek presents the musical “Frozen Jr.” on May 8th and 9th at Pine Hollow Middle School. Tickets for families of students in the cast go on sale today, April 21st. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on April 28th. More details to come.
Yearbooks are Here!
Track 4 school yearbooks will be sent home this week. If you would like to purchase your child’s yearbook, please complete the order sheet and send in $17 or purchase online at www.strawbridge.net. The online order code is YB31812. If you do not want to purchase the yearbook, please return the yearbook to your child’s teacher this week.
Volunteers Needed for STEAM Specials
Please consider volunteering some time to support STEAM Specials for Kindergarten in Quarter 4. You do not have to have a child in Kindergarten. Sign up here.
Backpack Buddies Donations Needed
The Backpack Buddies pantry is currently low on individually packaged snacks. If anyone is able to donate these items, they would be greatly appreciated! Please make sure to check expiration dates before donating, as we are unable to accept expired items.

Important Information from the PTA for the 2025-2025 School Year
PTA is beginning their search for the 2025-2026 PTA Board of Directors and all Committee Chairs. There are many openings available for the next school year, so if you are interested in volunteering please click this link to see a description of all open positions. The PTA Nominating Committee will reach out to you with more information. Experience is not required, but only a willingness to share your time and talents with Sycamore Creek. These roles are vital to keeping our PTA running and continued planning of all the events you and your children love. Without a full PTA Board and committees these events will not take place. We urge all parents who have the ability to please take a moment and see if you can help out in any of these positions. Thank you.
Spring Silent Auction
We need your help! The PTA is gearing up for their Spring Silent Auction that will run from May 8-15. We are looking for anyone willing to donate products or services to be auctioned off.

Volunteer Registration
For new volunteer registrations, click the link to start your volunteer registration: https://myvolunteer.com/wcpss/volunteer/login. On the MyVolunteer site, you will find disclosure and authorization forms, the WCPSS Volunteer Agreement, as well as a summary of rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You must review these documents and provide the requested information. Make sure you include your name and contact information when you begin the registration process. If you leave the CRC background site before completing your contact information, you will have to begin the process again. You must include your social security number to register to volunteer. If you do not have a social security number, please contact volunteers@wcpss.net or call 919-694-8233. You will be notified by the MyVolunteer system if you are approved to volunteer. If you have any issues during the volunteer registration process, contact the MyVolunteer customer support team at 877-272-0266 or customercare@mycrc.com.
