Absentee Notes
When your child is absent, please be sure that you are sending in notes or emails to the teacher so that they can code reasons for absences correctly in PowerSchools. If there is ever a discrepancy please reach out to us so we can help you! Also, please know we are required to send home official letters once students have six or ten unexcused absences.
Keeping Students Safe on the Internet
Thank you so much to all of you as parents who are closely monitoring your children’s use of devices on the internet and social media. The negative impact that unsupervised use has on young children is a growing concern. Be sure to check out the WCPSS Resource Page. If you scroll down under the main photo, you will see a computer labeled Digital Resources. There is a variety of context that may be helpful for you on digital safety and resources for parents. On this page, you'll find documentation on how parents can set up filtering on school devices (Digital Resources > Online Safety at School > Parental Control Solutions).
Snack Cart Donations
Help our PTA show our amazing teachers and staff how much they are appreciated by helping us stock a special fall snack cart for them with lots of delicious snacks and treats. If you would like to contribute, please sign up at this link - PTA snack cart. Please drop the items off at the front office no later than Friday, November 1st and the PTA will deliver the goodies. Thank you so much for your help and constant support of our hard working and wonderful staff.
Inflatables to Borrow
Because we have met our Croc Mile goal, there will be a staff inflatable race in November. If you have an inflatable costume we can borrow in November, we would be so appreciative. We need about 10 more.
Croc Mile Updates
This is the last week to collect funds for the Croc Mile! PTA also has a very limited number of Super Runner Shirts available for sale! Selling these shirts will get us almost to our stretch goal of $42k! lhttps://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4DA4A829A4FAC70-52603656-extra
Thanks-For-Giving 2024

TGA Golf and Tennis
Be sure to register for the next session of TGA Golf and Tennis!
TGA has partnered with the United States Tennis Association to create a fun and innovative tennis program for your child that takes place after school on campus. TGA’s 5 level elementary school curriculum includes games, drills and physical fitness activities that improve motor skills, agility and hand-eye coordination. Every TGA class focuses on academic concepts developed by educational experts, the rules and etiquette of tennis and skill development. TGA brings all of the equipment, training materials and a 10:1 student to instructor ratio to allow for plenty of individual attention.
TGA Tennis Registration Link: Date: 11/18 - 12/16 (Mondays/5 weeks program) Time: 3:25 - 4:25 pm
TGA Premier Junior Golf is specially designed for children and builds upon the educational concepts they are learning in the classroom including math and science. Fun comes first in every TGA class, but the curriculum also focuses on improving motor skills and physical fitness as well as instilling self confidence and life values through professional golf instruction. Students learn the fundamentals, etiquette and rules of the game in the comfortable environment of your school campus with a low 10:1 student to professional instructor ratio. They provide all the equipment and training materials so children of all skill levels have the chance to come out and tee it up with TGA!
TGA Golf Registration Link Date: 11/13 - 12/18 (Wednesdays/5 weeks program) Time: 3:25 - 4:25 pm NO CLASS ON 11/27 due to Thanksgiving Break!
