M. Brunson's Principal Updates on November 28, 2022

Good afternoon Sycamore Creek Families!  We hope that you had a wonderful and safe holiday!  It was so great to see everyone returning today.

 

Early Release Next Monday

Just a reminder that next Monday, December 5th, is an Early Release Day.  School dismisses at 1:00 PM.  Also, Track 1’s last day before track out is Monday, December 5th.  Track 2 will be returning on Tuesday, December 6th.

 

Events this Week

  • Picture Make-Up Day for Tracks 1 and 3 is tomorrow,  November 29th.  This is for students who were absent or retakes.  Purchase online using this digital flier.

  • Winter Chorus Concert and PTA Meeting - We are so excited to see our Sycamore Creek students shine!  Please join us this Thursday, December 1st for the Winter Chorus Concert.  There will be a brief PTA meeting starting at 5:00 PM followed by the Winter Chorus Concert. 

 

Lunch Changes

Tuesday - fish nuggets and chicken sandwich tomorrow.

 

Sycamore Creek Staff Celebrations

We are so thrilled to announce two new Sycamore Creek Celebrations!

  • Mrs. Hochbrueckner has been named Sycamore Creek’s Teacher of the Year!   

  • Mrs. Williamson has been named Sycamore Creek’s Instructional Assistant of the Year!

 

 

Sycamore Creek PTA Clothing Drive

We know that this time of year Sycamore Creek families are looking for a way to give back to the community. With that in mind, the PTA will be hosting a clothing drive to benefit Note in the Pocket November 28th through December 16th. The mission of Note in the Pocket is to provide quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. We will be collecting NEW ONLY socks, underwear and long sleeve t-shirts in all sizes from child to adult. These are some of the highest need items for the families that Note in the Pocket serves. Thank you for helping us show the holiday giving spirit SCES is known for. 

 

 

Winter Spirit Wear Preorder Closes Saturday! 

The cooler weather is finally here to stay. Order a cozy hoodie and a long sleeve tee for your Crocs today! Short sleeve t-shirts are also available to order. These items are pre-order ONLY.  Preorders will close December 3.  Our PTA hopes to have orders delivered to students by Dec. 21.
