I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your families! As we kick off a new month we wish Track 1 a Happy Track out and Happy Holiday, and we welcome back all of our Track 2 families!
Readvolution Field Trip
On Friday, we sent home a parent information letter with permission slip and lunch form for our February 25th event. Please be sure to check your child's folder or backpack for this information and return to your child's teacher this week.

Sycamore Creek Quarterly Review
Last Monday, our School Improvement Team held the first quarterly review of the year. Not only did we focus on our action steps in our SIP but we also analyzed school wide data. More details to come in the next PTA newsletter. However, we wanted to share some bits of the data with you now.

This holiday season, the best gift you can give your child is a good education. And the best place to get an education is in school. It’s tempting to extend your vacation by a few days, but remember, those days count as absences. Just a few missed days here and there, even if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time. So make sure your child is in school every day, right up until vacation starts. Our teachers will be teaching, and our students will be learning.
