Family Updates - April 17th, 2022
Greetings, Lynn Road Families! I’m hopeful that everyone had an amazing Spring Break! We’re in the home stretch now, and we’re looking forward to finishing out this school year strong.
Spring break gave me the opportunity to finish unpacking boxes and to settle in. Additionally, I’ve had time to reflect on my first two weeks at Lynn Road and to more clearly establish a plan/vision for the final weeks of the 2021-22 school year. I’ve also been able to inspect our facility more closely as we ensure a safe learning environment for our students. What a gift this time has been. I hope it’s been the same for you.
Below are a few updates for the upcoming week. We look forward to a great week of learning and growing!
Video Introduction
Click THIS link for a brief introduction video. I look forward to meeting you all and getting an opportunity to learn a little more about each of you.
Panorama Survey
The Panorama Survey window is now open until May 6th. This is a valuable opportunity for you to provide us feedback that will help us improve our relationships with families. Please take the time to complete this survey. We would like to have a 90% or higher participation rate. The survey can be completed at THIS LINK. You can also request a paper copy of the survey if preferred.
Yearbook
Yearbook sales are open until April 30th. Yearbooks can be ordered and paid online for $15. We also accept cash or check using the envelopes that were sent home with students. If you choose to make an online purchase, you do not need to send the envelope back to the school. Online orders can be made at strawbridge.net using the order code YB100798. You are also encouraged to upload candid photos to be included in our yearbook. All candid photos must be uploaded to THIS LINK by April 30th if you would like them to be considered.
Campus Cleanup
We will have a Campus Cleanup Event in celebration of Earth Day. Please join on Saturday, April 23rd from 9a - 12p as we work together to beautify our campus. If you are able, please bring tools to support our efforts, and someone will be available to provide you guidance about which area could most use your assistance.
Contact Information
If you have recently changed your phone number or address, please take a minute to come by the school so that we can update your information. It is extremely important that we have accurate contacts so that you receive information from the school and in case of an emergency.
Literacy at Home
Early literacy skills are extremely important for a student to grow and develop into a proficient reader. Use THIS LINK from the Department of Public Instruction to get specific ideas that you can use at home to support the growth of your child’s literacy skills.
