Recurring Announcements

  • Preregistration activities have concluded. All students received a folder to bring home and review. The registration resources provided to the student and on the Enloe Student Services website will help students decide on their course selections for the 25-26 school year. 

    • Students will begin meeting with counselors on 2-10 to enter their course requests into Powerschool. A full schedule of when students will meet with their counselor will be in the registration folder. 

      • We begin meeting with 9th grade students, then 10th, and finish with 11th grade students. 

      • It is very important for students to have their completed Golden Ticket with them on the date they meet with their counselor (review registration schedule).

  • Annual Curriculum Night will be Thursday, 2-27-25 from 6-8 pm. Opening session in the auditorium. After, families will have the opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss/learn about course offerings and/or meet with their counselor. 
  • Review the Student Services website for registration information.
  • Open Conferences will be held on Feb. 17 from 8:30-10:00.  Please join us and have a quick 5-minute conference with your student's teachers or School Counselor. We will also have various community organizations there for your convenience. If you are interested in joining us, please enter through the West Gym Lobby.  We look forward to seeing you there!

  • School-Based Mental Health: Through an agreement with the Wake County school system, community mental health agencies can provide mental health therapy to students during their school day. Enloe is fortunate to participate in this partnership to help increase access and provide opportunities for our students. Please contact your student’s counselor for referral information for this program.
  • Enloe 2025 Exam Schedule: Based on teacher input we have amended the Exam Schedule for Spring 2025. Please be aware of these changes. All students are expected to take Final Exams. Teachers will provide specific exam information closer to the time. Please reach out to Debbie Parrish with any questions. 

  • COFFEE TALK 2025 with Dr. Jordan:

    • February 20, March 20, April 17, May 15

  • PSAT scores are available. Please check our website linked here for more information.
  • COLLEGE VISITS: Colleges and universities from all over the country will meet Enloe students during lunch times.  Please see the College Visit Calendar on the Student Services website for specific dates and times…

    • College visits are in person and held during lunches in Student Services, unless otherwise noted on the calendar..

    • Students may come down to Student Services and if it is during their class period, they are responsible for getting teacher approval and a pass to Student Services.

    • Check the calendar often as we add new appointments as we hear from college representatives.

Parent Organization Updates

PTSA: We are #BetterTogether!

  • TEACHER WORKDAY - SPIRIT EVENT at URBAN AIR: Bring your Enloe and non-Enloe kids and their friends out for a fun time during the upcoming teacher workday. The Enloe spirit event will take place on Monday, February 17 at Urban Air from 12 - 6 PM. Enloe will receive 20% for each ticket purchased at the facility when you say that you are there for the Enloe spirit event. More details here.
  • Q&A SESSION FOR PARENTS: CLASS REGISTRATION & DUAL ENROLLMENT 

    • Join this informative virtual Q&A session, as dean of students, Patty Miller, answers questions regarding class registration and dual enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year.

    • The back to back sessions will begin at 6pm on Monday, February 24th. The session will be recorded, if technology allows.

    • If you’d like to submit questions in advance, those questions will take priority during the call. Please submit them here (tinyurl.com/EnloeRegistration-CCP). A Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

  • PTSA BOARD NOMINATIONS: Please consider joining the 2025-2026 PTSA board or serving on a committee. There are a variety of roles for a wide range of skills, interests and time commitments. Please complete the 2025-2026 PTSA Interest Form by March 1st. Completing the interest form does not commit you, but it will allow us to reach out to share more information about open positions and opportunities.

  • SUPPORT OUR “TEACHER GRANTS” PROGRAM: We have $2,500 to go to fully fund our teacher grants this spring! Can you help? Consider it a donation to your child's classroom since any teacher can apply! tinyurl.com/EnloeTeacherGrants. Donations are tax deductible!

  • Our Annual Small Business Pop-Up Shop will be Saturday, March 1st from 11am - 2pm. We are currently accepting vendors. Please come out and support local small businesses.   • If you have prom attire that you would like to donate, please drop it off in the West Office. We will accept formalwear until Thursday, February 27th. If you need prom attire, please come to the Small Business Pop-Up Shop - and shop!

 

Athletic Boosters:

  • Come join us for the Athletic Booster Club Meeting- Tuesday, February 18th at 6 pm in the Media Center.  Did your athlete make a Spring Sports Team? Come find out more about the Booster Club at Tuesday’s meeting. 

  • All athletes and parents please sign-up for the Athletic BoosterHub at https://enloeboosters.org/register/7375. Then your athlete can purchase their Athlete Pass for $1.18. Spring Sports Passes are available for Families ($100), Adults ($37) and Students/Seniors ($17) https://enloeboosters.org/about/7801. The BoosterHub app has information on all sports events and is the place to sign-up to Volunteer for Concessions.

  • Want to make a difference in the lives of our student athletes? The Enloe Athletic Booster Club is looking for dedicated parents to fill key volunteer roles!
  • No matter your skills or experience, we have a place for you! Volunteering with the Booster Club is a rewarding way to support our student athletes, connect with other parents, and show your Enloe spirit. We have several exciting opportunities available, including:
    • Fundraising & Sponsors: Lead the charge in identifying and recruiting community businesses to sponsor Enloe athletics and events. Work closely with the Event Coordinator and volunteers to Identify potential sponsors or partners for events.
    • Concessions: Concessions are a vital source of funding for our teams. This role will be responsible for the inventory of products, ensuring availability during events. Close coordination with volunteers is also key, to make sure stands are staffed during games.
    • Apparel: Oversee the sale of Enloe's athletic apparel. Manage the design, ordering, and distribution of apparel items. Coordinate with volunteers to set up sales at home games or events and manage online orders.
    • Social Media Coordinator: Promote Enloe Athletics on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). Collaborate with athletes, coaches, and staff to gather content (photos, videos, news).

Enloe Band Boosters

  • Our band ensembles have had a busy weekend, including Indoor Percussion’s first competition of the season and the Burnin’ Bananas jazz combo participating in the Charles Mingus Jazz Festival in New York City. Come out and support the Winter Guard next weekend on Saturday, February 22, at West Johnston HS. Event details can be found here.
  • Chamber Pops: Rialto Theater on February 16, at 7 PM;  Tickets are $15 Chamber Pops is a one-night-only concert opportunity for high school chamber ensembles to come together and play pop and rock music on traditional band/orchestra instruments, music of their choosing that might not often be heard played on our instruments. This year, groups are playing songs like "Sweet Caroline", "Don't Stop Believin'", and "Viva la Vida". Performers are students from high schools across Wake County. This year they will have 61 performers across 13 groups from 11 different schools. Over 30 of these performers will be from Enloe, including the Enloe Flute Choir and Crescenloe. A portion of the proceeds allocated to Chamber Pops from the concert will be donated to the Raleigh Music Collective, a Raleigh group whose mission is to offer music lessons to children, regardless of their ability to pay.

Congratulations to Mrs. Flaherty Grampp and her Science Olympiad students who competed at Regionals last weekend at NC State. They had a strong performance in both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Competitions

4A STATE CHAMPION!

Indoor Track competed in the 4A NCHSAA State Championship Meet at JDL in Winston-Salem, NC. Alexander Chapman-Evans is the 4A State Champion in the Long Jump, Triple Jump Runner up, and was named the Most Outstanding Athlete for the entire meet with 20 points. Anthony Boykin placed 3rd in the 300m. Job well done, and we are genuinely proud of you! Many thanks to head Coach Kennedy and assistant Coaches Abra, Culbreth, and Johnson for a great indoor season!

Wrestling State Qualifier

Josh Patterson placed 1st at the 4A East Regional. Josh will represent Enloe Wrestling at the State Championship! Josh has made Wrestling history as the first regional champion in at least the last decade. Congratulations, and good luck!!!

***Women’s Basketball***

The Women’s Basketball teams honored their Seniors on Tuesday, February 11. At guard No. 2 Dasia French, at post No. 22 Kealy Jordan, at Guard No. 10 Aya Yebka, at Guard No. 4, Madison Young; and team manager Amina Johnson. Special Thanks to Coach Jeff Foust (Girls Basketball) for leading our Varsity Athletes. Congratulations Seniors!

We Appreciate our Teachers!!!

Teacher Appreciation Night was held on Wednesday, February 12. The Women’s Basketball team, through the direction of Coach Mickeal Rhaney (JV Girls Basketball), acknowledged our educators as a bright light at Enloe. They celebrated teachers at Enloe for two reasons:

1) Although teachers significantly impact all of our students, it is not always easy to see how much of an impact they have without student feedback.

2) The Teachers here at Enloe are not a part of the bricks that make up the school; they are the ones who make the bricks a home.

Enloe High School is cashless for all athletic events. Tickets ($8) for all sports except Varsity Football, Women’s Flag Football, and Quad games ($10), may be purchased from the GoFan platform.  https://gofan.co/app/school/NC2477 .  A game day administrator will redeem tickets at the gate of all events. Please read the name and location of the event before purchasing. Please be advised that Booster Club athletic passes are only good for regular-season home games. A GoFan ticket is required for Homecoming/Coming-Home, AND playoff games.
