PTA News and Updates from your PTA President, Brittany Wells

*The PTA is excited to be working on the BCES Yearbook for the first time!  Place your order by November 30th if you would like to save 5% off of the $12.14 (plus tax) price.  For more information or to place your order visit: .

*Our next PTA Board Meeting is Monday, December 2nd at 6pm in the Media Center.  All are welcome!

*There will be a District 7 Board Advisory Council Meeting on December 5th at 6:30pm at Parkside Elementary.  The topic of the meeting is going to be on WCPSS Curriculum.  All are welcome!

*The PTA will be helping to sponsor a holiday gathering for the BCES staff on December 13th.  This is a tradition each year that the PTA does to help show our appreciation to the staff. The PTA board would like to thank all of the families that support the PTA to make events like this happen!

*We are currently looking for a couple of volunteers to share the role of organizing our Edukits for the 2020-21 school year.  For more information visit: .

*Last year the PTA undertook a trial project with staff to help repurpose used markers rather than sending them to landfills with the Crayola ColorCycle Program.  We were able to send over 900 markers by the end of the year.  This year we would like to extend the reach and ask BCES families to send in any used markers to recycle.  We have a labeled drop off bucket in the front office.

Please look for the weekly email from your child’s teacher and check your child’s grade-level website for additional information. Grade-level websites can be found here. Please reach out to your child’s teacher(s) with any questions.

My Jets Best,
