Tuesday, Dec. 13 = Spirit Week Begins
Let it Snow! Wear snowflake or snow day themed clothes and accessories
Wednesday, Dec. 14
Celebrate the ALL-idays! Get creative with your clothes and wear something that when put together represents your favorite holiday, winter or other!
Thursday, Dec. 15
Time with Family and Friends! Decide as a class what to wear. Spirit wear, a specific color, plaids, jerseys or other. It's a group decision!
Friday, Dec. 16 = Interims go home
Cozy up with a book! Wear pajamas and be ready to share your favorite picture book title at morning meeting.
Monday, Dec. 19
Deck the Halls! Wear your holiday ugly sweater or other holiday themed clothes, socks and headwear.
Wednesday, Dec. 21 = Early Release at 1pm
Thursday, Dec. 22 - Jan. 2 = Winter Break
Tuesday, Jan. 3= First Day back from Winter Break

Thank you to all the families who attended our Literacy and Engineering Night this past Thursday. We had about 60% of families in attendance. What a great turnout! Be on the lookout for our next event!
Interims will be sent home with all students on Friday, December 16th.

Reminder: Free and Reduced Lunch Forms
If you have not already, please complete the Free and Reduced Lunch forms for your child(ren). These numbers are used in determining our Title I funding at Brentwood. Forms can be completed online or a hard copy that can be turned into the office. If you need a hard copy, contact (919)850-8720. Please make sure to refer to the Safe to School Plan for Families for all Health and Safety Guidelines.
IMPORTANT: Please know that parents will be contacted if their child experiences any of the following symptoms while at school, and will need to be picked up.

It is important that you are receiving this information as it contains important announcements. REMINDER: Brentwood Afterschool Program
We will continue partnering with Raleigh Parks and Recreation for our After School program. The program will be held on the Brentwood campus on school days from 3:00 - 6:00 for a cost.
The program strives to make available a high-quality program at a low cost. The goal is to include a variety of curriculum-based programs such as arts & crafts, fitness & nutrition, and homework assistance.
