Brentwood Families,

 

It has been such a great week seeing more of our Brentwood students in the building. We have enjoyed seeing each and every one of them at school.  Next week will be a very short week as we will only have school on Monday and Tuesday. Remember, both of these days are Remote Learning (Asynchronous) Days for students. All students will be at home completing remote assignments.

Important Updates

 

UPDATE: Curbside Meal Pickup and Big Bus Food Truck 

  • Closed, Monday 23rd, 
  • Open, Tuesday, 24th
  • Closed, Wednesday, 25th - Friday, 27th

 

Curbside pick up locations and Big Bus Food Truck sites will distribute two lunches and two breakfasts on Fri., Nov. 20 to also cover meals for Mon. Nov. 23 as all curbside pick up locations and Big Bus Food Truck locations will be closed on this date. On Tuesday, Nov. 24, our CNS team will distribute a four-day holiday pack at our curbside pick-up locations and Big Bus Food Truck sites as long as supplies last. Food distribution services will not be occurring Nov. 25-27.

UPDATE: Plan B - 4th/5th  Grade - Cohort B

4th-5th grade students assigned to Cohort B will return to school on Monday, November 30th.

 

Here is the calendar for when Plan B students will be in the building or working remotely.

 

REMINDER: Brentwood Afterschool Program

We will be partnering with Raleigh Parks and Recreation for our After School program. The program will be held on the Brentwood campus on school days from 3:00 - 6:00 for a cost.

 

The program strives to make available a high-quality program at a low cost. The goal is to include a variety of curriculum-based programs such as arts & crafts, fitness & nutrition, and homework assistance.

 

Registration is open and needs to be completed through Raleigh Parks and Rec. For more information and the registration process, please visit:

REMINDER:  Virtual Academy Registration (December 2-9)

 

The registration windows for the WCPSS Virtual Academy for the spring semester of the 2020-21 school year have been updated and set. The window for elementary schools will be Dec. 2-9. More information to come.
