Principal’s Message
Greetings Washington Families,
We are nearing the end of the second quarter and staff and students are working hard on making progress. I need to ask for your support in making all students successful, especially yours:
REVIEW YOUR PARENT EXPECTATIONS ABOUT BEHAVIOR AT SCHOOL!
Washington GT uses STAR as an acronym to help staff and students focus on key, global areas:
S = show self-control
T = take responsibility
A =act safely
R = respect yourself and others
Have you specifically and recently had a conversation with your child about what YOU expect for behavior at school? If not, please do so. The more the adults are aligned in their views, the better it is for the child.
Let’s make it a great week at 1000 Fayetteville Street!
Magically,
Doug Hooper, Interim Principal
Joyce Ratley, Assistant Principal
