2019 Final Exams
The testing schedule can be viewed here: 2019 Testing Schedule
On Monday, June 3rd, students will take their 4A & 4B Exams. Due to the nature of the testing environment and our sustained efforts towards reducing and eliminating potential distractions for all students, students cannot be checked out early until the full testing time/session is completed. See the linked Testing Schedule above for testing timeframes.
On Tuesday, June 4th - Friday, June 7th, students will be taking EOCs and NCFEs. This year students will be allowed to checkout, following the completion of the morning exam block if they have a signed parent permission form for the that specific day. These dates include: Tuesday, June 4 (Math EOCs) - Wednesday, June 5 (English) - Thursday, June 6 (Science) - Friday, June 7 (Humanities).
If students have calculators, they should bring them to their science and math exams.
If a student is absent for an exam, Make-Ups will be given on Monday, June 10th, and Tuesday, June 11th.
Graduation 2019 Rehearsal - June 5
Millbrook’s Class of 2019 Graduation Rehearsal is Wednesday, June 5, from 1:00pm-3:00pm downtown at the Raleigh Convention Center. Seniors should plan to arrive and be in their alpha-sorted seat assignment no later than 12:45pm, dressed in regular school clothes. Attendance at our Graduation Rehearsal is MANDATORY to participate in the final commencement ceremony on June 13. Tardiness will not be tolerated; therefore, seniors should plan to be at the Raleigh Convention Center early. It is recommended that seniors carpool because the City of Raleigh charges for parking in the adjacent parking decks, and they should plan to pay when they exit any parking garage.
Seniors will receive THIS Senior Bulletin #3 at the meeting, and they will receive Graduation tickets as they practice walking across the stage. If seniors still have Fines and/or have incomplete course credits, they will receive a notice that informs them of the process to obtain their tickets.
Millbrook High School Baccalaureate Service - Sunday, June 9th
Millbrook High School’s Baccalaureate Service is organized by community volunteers to support a student led Christian service honoring our graduating seniors. Through music, scripture reading and words of reflection by our Millbrook students, the purpose of the service is to strengthen and encourage our graduates as they begin their journey into adulthood, supported by God’s love and a community of faith. The Baccalaureate Service will be on Sunday, June 9th at 3:00pm at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7506 Falls of Neuse Rd. Seniors are asked to be at the church in their cap & gown at 2:30pm. More information can be found here.
