Millbrook High School is hosting its annual Curriculum Fair on Thursday, February 15th from 6:30pm-7:45pm. This event is for ALL current and future Millbrook students and their families! Each department will have representatives available in the Media Center to speak with Rising 10th-12th grade families and in the Cafeteria to speak with Rising 9th grade families. Students and families will have an opportunity to explore core and elective classes offered at MHS. Feel free to arrive and leave any time you wish. This is an informal event designed for you to ask high school teachers about their curriculum.
English 10 Personal Project Rough Draft Submissions
Students in English 10 have the option to submit their rough draft of their Personal Project paper to their English teacher on Feb. 12 (A Day) and Feb. 13 (B Day). This is not for a grade, but it is an opportunity for students to receive feedback before completing the final paper, which is due March 5 (A Day) and March 6 (B Day).

Green Road Community Library - Open 7 Days a Week
The Wake County Board of Commissioners recently approved funding that allows the Green Road Community Library, which serves our school area, to open its doors on Sundays. That means the library is now open 7 days a week (YES!), offering books, research material, computers, free wifi, and study and tutoring space.
Media Center Fines & Amnesty Week
Students need to return any overdue library books (even if from another school) to the media center. There is a charge of $0.10/day late fee and those fees will prevent students from purchasing Prom tickets, getting their diploma, and purchasing parking passes for the 18-19 school year. These fines can be paid at any time with cash, check, or through OSP.
There will be a Fine Amnesty Week from March 19th - 23rd where students are welcome to come to the media center and speak with Ms. Genesky or Ms. Kraus to have their fines waived! They will be waiving fines before/after school or at lunch for the full week. Please see this flyer.
BAC 3 Meeting
Please join us for a discussion on the search for the new WCPSS Superintendent on February 12 at Abbotts Creek Elementary School starting at 6:00.
