Apex Fun Run Update
As of today, Tracks 1 and 4 have raised over $42,000 to support the school! Throughout this effort, students are learning about positive character traits and having so much fun! Tracks 1 and 4 will have their Fun Run tomorrow.
Our Apex FUN RUN 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪 for Tracks 1 & 4! It’s been great sharing all of the leadership habits and fun the students and staff have had with the Apex program over the last two weeks. Now it’s time to celebrate everyone’s hard work! Unfortunately, family members are not invited to watch the Fun Run because of COVID restrictions. We appreciate your understanding.
Fun Run reminders for tomorrow:
1. Wear comfortable shoes
2. Get a good night’s sleep
3. Eat a healthy breakfast
4. Stay hydrated – start today and bring in your own refillable water bottle
5. Encourage your student to do their best
🔸 You still have time to enter pledges for your student. Go to www.MyApexEvent.com and login with your child’s access code. Help us finish strong!

Back to School: How to Help Your Child Manage Stress & Anxiety and Thrive this School Year
Tuesday, September 21
7:30-8:30pm
Transitioning back to school in a time of physical distancing and masks is hard. It can be stressful and anxiety provoking for students and parents alike. With schools opening up for in-person learning again, it is increasingly important for parents and guardians to be attuned to their child’s mental health and wellness. Parents and guardians can help children by planning the transition, making strong connections, and re-establishing routines. With the right support and access to local resources, children can adjust, make new friends, learn new things, and thrive socially and emotionally. Dr. Laura Politte will discuss the broad impact of COVID-19 on mental health, how to recognize the signs of anxiety, and share strategies parents can easily use to support their children’s mental health as they transition back to school.
Spanish translation will be provided.
