Return to Headlines

October 22, 2020

We look forward to our Pre-K-3rd grade cohort 1 students coming on Monday, October 26th.  They will be in school Monday and Tuesday and will be home on Wednesday, October 28th for an asynchronous (non-live) teaching day.  They will return to finish the week at school on Thursday and Friday.  Pre-K-3rd grade Cohort 2 will come to school on the week of November 2 and will have an asynchronous day on Tuesday, November 3 (Election Day) and return Wednesday for the rest of the week.

For those families that are not Virtual Academy, you will be receiving an e-mail regarding health guidelines, protocols and student accountability.  Please read this information and return the form at the bottom, signed and dated when your child returns to school.  If you are unable to print it, we can send a hard copy home during your child's cohort or you can pick one up in the office.  You will have to wait outside the office as visitors are still not permitted at this time.

I am happy to announce they have granted approval for our Before School Program to start.  We will begin Monday, October 26th.  Parents may pick up an application at the school office this week or before their cohort begins.  This only applies to Face to Face students and not our Virtual Academy students.  Only students that are in school during their cohort are allowed to attend that week.  For example...Only students in cohort 1 will be able to attend Before School Care next week,  Cohort 2 the following week and so on.  The Before School Care will not be operating on Asynchronous days.

Finally, a flyer was sent regarding a bowling fundraiser at Buffaloe Lanes this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Please share that flyer with the bowling alley and Vance will receive 50% off your receipt.  Once again, we look forward to seeing our Pre-K-3rd grade cohort 1 students starting on Monday.
