Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, November 1st, we held our ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the opening of our brand new middle school.
Shout out to Ms. Lundberg
Ms. Lundberg was honored at the "Stars Among Us" on Wednesday, October 30th. The event was a wonderful celebration for North Carolina educators. Out of 200 nominated teachers in Wake County, Ms. Lundberg was recognized as one of the top nine finalists for the Stars Among Us award. Great job Ms. Lundberg and Go Bengals!
New/Updated Announcements
No school on Tuesday, November 5th
There is no school for students on Tuesday, November 5th. The school will be open from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Athletics
Congratulations to our football and volleyball teams for defeating Holly Grove Middle School last week. Our teams will play their last games of the season this week.

Roar into Reading
This week we are beginning a new initiative entitled "Roar into Reading." We are asking our students to read for 30 minutes a day or 2.5 hours a week at home. After they have done this, they will complete this reading log, which can also be picked up in their homeroom class, and turn it into Ms. Townsend in the media center. Once they have done that, they will be entered into a drawing where they will have the opportunity to win some cool and fun prizes. Spirit Night at Daddy D's BBQ on Tuesday, November 5th
Take the night off from cooking and support our PTA by eating at Daddy D's in Fuquay-Varina on Tuesday, November 5th from 4pm-9pm. Let them know you are part of FVMS when ordering!!! Thank you for your support!
New Spirit wear Launched!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new spirit wear collection in the school store! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to show their school spirit with an array of fresh items, including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, beanies, pajama pants, earrings, and even our cozy FVMS blanket!
To ensure everyone gets their favorite gear in time for the holiday break, we’re currently accepting pre-orders for all items. Please note that some items have minimum order requirements that must be met before we can place our order.
Mark your Calendar - Important PTA Meeting on November 13th!
Mark your calendars for our upcoming PTA meeting on November 13th in the school library (media center). This meeting is very important, as we will be voting on the adjusted budget for the 2024-2025 school year. We encourage all PTA members to attend, as we need to reach quorum to proceed with the vote.
If you can’t join us in person, no worries! We’ll be offering a virtual option, and a link will be shared in next week’s Principal’s Message.

Fall Musical
FVMS Broadway Bengals are hard at work rehearsing for the upcoming Musical of Aladdin Jr. Go ahead and mark your calendars for the show, December 12th and 13th at 6pm and December 14 at 1pm.
