Reedy Creek Families,
We hope each of you had a wonderful weekend. It’s hard to believe that we are already in the month of December. As a reminder, tomorrow, December 5th, is an early release day. Dismissal begins at 1:45pm. Please be on time so that staff are able to participate in the PD scheduled. Students should be picked up by 2:15 at the latest.
To add some seasonal cheer, we hope that you will support your scholar by selecting items at home that are needed to participate in activities occurring during the 12 days before the break. Please see this calendar of events for the 12 Days until Winter Break - link.
Thank you to those who supported our young ladies in GOTR this weekend. The young ladies worked hard and the showcase was for them to take time to turn their practice into performance as well as celebrate themselves. Parents of our Girls on the Run scholars, thank you for supporting your daughter as well as Coach McGrath, Coach Lickfeld, and Coach Hazel. We appreciate you!
Thanks to families who supported PTA’s last campus clean up efforts. We could use support with finishing spreading the two piles of mulch remaining. If you are able to bring your tools to help spread the mulch located in the front parking lot, please call the school to let us know or complete this form (linked) to let us know. Any morning you have to donate your time prior to the Winter break is appreciated.

As we enter the Winter Holiday Season, please be sure to communicate with classroom teachers via Talking Points if your child will be absent from school.
Update on Student Ambassadors - Student Ambassadors for 5th and 4th grade have been selected. Due to the number of 3rd graders moving to the 2nd round and student absences, the interview process will continue this week. Please note that the meeting dates shared in the application will be adjusted and communicated so as to not interfere with Art Club..
Register to Volunteer - Don’t forget to register to volunteer if you plan to chaperone your scholar’s field trip. Confirmation of approval has not been a quick turnaround. If you have lived out of the state or the country, it takes longer to be approved. If you plan to come to the school to volunteer, help us out by completing this form so that we have the system ready for you when you arrive.

Esperamos que cada uno de ustedes haya tenido un maravilloso fin de semana. Cuesta creer que ya estamos en el mes de diciembre. Como recordatorio, mañana, 5 de diciembre, es un día de salida temprana. La salida comienza a la 1:45 pm. Llegue a tiempo para que el personal pueda participar en el PD programado. Los estudiantes deben ser recogidos a más tardar a las 2:15.

Gracias a quienes apoyaron a nuestras señoritas en GOTR este fin de semana. Las jóvenes trabajaron duro y el escaparate fue para que se tomaran el tiempo de convertir su práctica en una actuación y celebrarse a sí mismas. Padres de nuestros estudiantes de Girls on the Run, gracias por apoyar a su hija, así como al entrenador McGrath, al entrenador Lickfeld y al entrenador Hazel. ¡Te apreciamos!
