Greetings Hodge Families!
Last week was another successful week at Hodge. Administration met with each grade level to reinforce our school expectations. We use the acronym P.A.W.S which stands for Positive Word, Achieve Success, Work Hard, and Stay Safe. Ask your child what they learned about demonstrating P.A.W.S at our school.
Student handbooks were sent home last week. Please be sure to read over the important contents of the booklet. Sign the back page and return to your child’s teacher.
Our water fountains are still out of use for safety reasons. Please make sure your child brings their water bottle to school each day. All necessary school supplies were purchased for students this year except a bookbag and water bottle. I understand that students may displace their water bottle, so it may be a good idea to buy multiple. The Dollar Tree has a variety of sizes and styles.
There is no school on Friday, August 19th for students. This is a teacher workday.
Thank you for partnering with our staff as we care for and support our students each day. We are ALL in this together. That’s what makes us Hodge Road Strong!
Your partner in education,
Felecia Dorsey, Principal
