Hello Raven Families,

 

I hope you had a nice weekend.  A reminder there is no school tomorrow, Monday February 20th, in observance of Presidents Day.  We will see all our Ravens by 7:25 a.m. Tuesday.

 

New this week:

 

• It’s Spirit week, an opportunity for students to earn house mega points!

• Beta Club will be meeting on Wednesday right after school in Ms. Hall’s room.

• If your child will be attending Neuse River next year, you can see the 2023 - 2024 school calendar here.  

• NRMS has partnered with i9 Sports to offer competitive play for spring and summer sports leagues! Registration is NOW open for Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Cheerleading. Leagues range from 3 years old to 15 years old! If you are interested in signing your student up, you can register at i9sports.com or by using this link here! Use Promo Code: Neuse River (case sensitive) for $20 off of any registration. All games will be played at Neuse River Middle School with spring sports starting the week of March 25th! If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Futrell at jfutrell@wcpss.net! 

• NRMS will be performing in the Stars in the East! Click here for event info and how to purchase tickets.

• Carpool reminders: 

  • Parents should only use the carpool lane for drop off and pick up. Students are not allowed to be picked up or dropped off in the parking lot. 

  • Please do not drop off students prior to 7:00 am as there is no supervision.

 

 

PTA NEWS

 

• Other ways to support NRMS?? Link your Harris Teeter, Lowes Food (cart to class) grocery cards to our school. NRMS will get rewards based on your purchases. Hola familias de Raven,

 

Espero que tengas un buen fin de semana. Un recordatorio de que no hay clases mañana, lunes 20 de febrero, en conmemoración del Día de los Presidentes. Veremos a todos nuestros Ravens a las 7:25 a. m. del martes.

 

Nuevo esta semana:

 

• ¡Es la semana del espíritu, una oportunidad para que los estudiantes ganen megapuntos para la casa!

• Beta Club se reunirá el miércoles justo después de la escuela en el salón de la Sra. Hall.

• Si su hijo asistirá a Neuse River el próximo año, puede ver el calendario escolar 2023 - 2024aquí.

• ¡NRMS se ha asociado con i9 Sports para ofrecer juegos competitivos para las ligas deportivas de primavera y verano! La inscripción AHORA está abierta para Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball y Cheerleading. ¡Las ligas van desde los 3 años hasta los 15 años! Si está interesado en inscribir a su estudiante, puede registrarse en i9sports.com o usandoeste enlace aquí! Use el código de promoción: Neuse River (se distingue entre mayúsculas y minúsculas) por $ 20 de descuento en cualquier registro. ¡Todos los juegos se jugarán en la escuela secundaria Neuse River y los deportes de primavera comenzarán la semana del 25 de marzo! • Recordatorios de viajes compartidos:

  • Los padres solo deben usar el carril de vehículos compartidos para dejar y recoger a sus hijos. No se permite que los estudiantes sean recogidos o dejados en el estacionamiento.

  • No deje a los estudiantes antes de las 7:00 am ya que no hay supervisión.
