Weekly Update 4-10-2023
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL APPRECIATION WEEK: Please help us celebrate our assistant principals this week during Assistant Principal Appreciation Week 4-10 through 4-14. They do so much to support our faculty, students, and community. Utilize some time this week to contact them to express your appreciation for all that they do.
PANORAMA SURVEY: Helping students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents, students, and schools all play important roles in this process. Help us make your child's school experience as positive and beneficial as possible by giving honest, thoughtful responses to the questions in our family survey from April 10 - May 12. http://surveys.panoramaed.com/wakecounty/family
ELA NCCHECK-IN: All students will take the last ELA NC Check-In April 13. Please ensure that students bring to school a charged laptop device and their earphones. Students will be required at the end of the year to ring their charged laptop device and earphones in order to take their End of Grade Assessments. If you do not have a district issued Chromebook or there is something wrong with yours, please contact Mrs. Knuckles.
CHECK-OUTS: This is a reminder that there are no check-outs after 2:30. Also there are no messages that will be delivered to students after 2:30. Check-outs for any reason must be done prior to 2:30. Please understand that we are extremely busy during that time period preparing for dismissal and closing out the day.
TITLE I ADDITIONAL FUNDS: We need your assistance with completing the Meal Benefits Application to ensure our school continues to receive federal dollars that support all students that attend our school. Please see the message below of how you can help.
Important: Complete a Meal Benefits Application
Parents, please consider applying for meal benefits even if you believe you wont qualify. For every student completes the free and reduced lunch application and qualifies, the school receives federal funds to provide additional teachers, staff, materials, and supplies for students. Information about applying for Meal Benefits can be found at www.wcpss.net/Page/1849. Help our school continue to receive this funding by completing an application online at MySchoolApps.com prior to February 15.
