To the Cary High Class of 2020,
I am thrilled to announce that we have received a huge outpouring of decorated signs for our Senior Celebration Parade. Several leaders in the PTSA, specifically Mrs. Shorb, Mrs. Mood, and Mrs. Ludergan, have been working closely with me and my school based team to plan out a very special parade route with some terrific decorations. We can’t wait for you to see it and feel the love that our school community has for all of you.
Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating with our original planned date of Wednesday, May 20th. According to most forecasts we are going to experience steady rain from now through Friday of this week. It does appear that the rain will be gone by next week. I considered moving forward with the original date, but it would mean the ruining of the amazing signs that have been created or reducing the scale of our decorations. I don’t want that to happen. You deserve the absolute BEST Senior Celebration Parade and that’s what we are going to have. For these reasons, I am going to postpone our Senior Parade until Wednesday, May 27th, from 8:00 - 10:30 pm. I know that we are all a little disappointed by this decision, but it will be worth it when you see what we have planned.
Stay safe, stay dry, and stay strong!
