12-16-19 Weekly Message

This is our last week before Winter Break.  The school will be closed from December 23rd - January 3rd.  Students will return to school on January 6, 2020. I hope that everyone has a safe and restful vacation. 

 

  • Progress reports were sent home with students on Friday, December 13th.  Please make sure that your student reviews those with you and submits any missing work prior to the Winter Break.  If a student is unclear on which work can still be turned in for partial credit, they should communicate directly with their teacher. 
  • CHS Band Boosters is wrapping gifts at Cary Towne Center mall next weekend. Bring your gifts from home, finish your shopping. All wrapping is done for a donation. 
  • Support another group of Imps - our NJROTC program is hosting a dine-out at Tijuanna Flats, near Trader Joes. from 5 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2020.  A portion of proceeds will support our cadets. Be sure to tell them you are there to support Cary HS. 
  • Cary High School hosted 400+ students and advisors for the FBLA Triangle East Region Competition this past weekend. Senior Emelie Rodriquez placed 3rd in Job Interview and Senior Keton York placed 1st in Future Business Leader. Both will represent the region and Cary High at the State Leadership Conference in March.
  • Attention all Seniors who wish to be mid-year graduates (January 30, 2020), please plan on joining Mr. Bryant in the BOP on Thursday, December 19th at 10:00 am for a meeting.  
  • The Cary High Band will hold their Winter Concert on Monday, December 16th starting at 7 pm in the Auditorium.
  • All four Cary High Basketball Teams will take to the court against Green Hope this Tuesday, December 17th.  The first game tips off at 3:30 pm.
  • CHS will hold a home swim meet this Tuesday, December 17th at the TAC.  
  • Our Wrestling Team will host Panther Creek on Wednesday, December 18th with a match start time of 6 pm
  • Varsity Girls Basketball will host Riverside HS for a home game on Thursday, December 19th beginning at 6:30 pm.
  • The Mark Adams Wrestling Tournament will begin after school on Friday, December 20th and last until the evening of December 21st.  Come out and show your support of our program and our wrestlers.
