April 3rd WFMS Family Message

Spring Break

Spring Break is April 11th - 15th.  WFMS staff may not be monitoring email and phone calls during this time. If you send a message during these dates, staff will respond following the break beginning Monday, April 18th.  The main office and campus will be closed during the week of Spring Break, so students should take home all items they will need during the break.  Thank you and we hope everyone enjoys this time off.

Social Media

We have recently had many discipline issues arise in the school building which are starting with student use of social media (Snapchat, Instagram, and other platforms) on and off campus.  Please have a conversation with your student about the appropriate use of social media and monitor their accounts, if they have them.  The focus of our student should be on their academics each day.

Picture Day

Spring Picture Day will be held on Wednesday, April 6th and Thursday, April 7th during your student’s Healthful Living Class.  Virtual Academy students may come anytime between 8:00am - 3:15pm either of these days.  VA students should check in at the main office and then head down to the gym for their picture.  If you have questions, please reach out to Amy Harmon at

PTSA Spirit Night - April 7th @ Real McCoy’s Wake Forest

Real McCoy's will be hosting a spirit night from 5-9pm to benefit WFMS. All sales (dine in / take out/ or beverage)  will earn our school 10%. Please plan to stop by or grab some take out. We look forward to seeing you there and thank you as always for your continued support of WFMS and our PTSA!

Parent Panorama Survey

Information will be shared by WCPSS this week about the Parent Panorama and Student Surveys available from April 4th - May 6th.  Please take time to review this information and complete the survey.  Thank you.

Rising 7th & 8th Grade Course Registration

Students are working with counselors to begin the registration process for elective course selection.  Verification forms with requests and course recommendations will be sent home for parent review and feedback when we return from spring break.  You can review elective course offerings at:
