April 28th Parent Message - COVID-19 Updates

Good morning WFMS families,

I hope this message finds you and your family well and in good spirits.  I speak for the entire WFMS staff in letting you know we miss our WFMS Cougar students being in the building.  Like many of you, we were disheartened to hear we would not return to school to conclude the 2019-2020 school year.  While we understand the rationale behind this, it does not make it any easier for our staff who wanted to be able to provide closure to the year for our students.

I encourage your child to continue their remote learning and accessing staff office hours to progress in their academic study for the remainder of the school year.  All information related to remote learning at WFMS can be located on the WFMS Remote Learning website.

May 4th – May 8th is Teacher Appreciation Week.  If there is a staff member who has had a profound and positive impact on your child at WFMS, please take the time this week to reach out and appreciate them for all they have done.

Please continue to reach out to us with any questions you may have.  We are here to support you and your child as we continue to navigate through these very unique times in our history.  My contact information is cbradford@wcpss.net should need need to speak with me for any reason.

Please take a moment to review the brief announcements below.

Thank you.

Dr. Bradford

Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8th)

Since our school buildings are closed and we are not returning for the year, we more than ever, want to show our teachers how much we appreciate all they do for our kiddos!  We need your help!  We need photos and videos of your kiddos showing their love for the teachers and staff at WFMS.  This could be a poster, a sidewalk chalk drawing, a short thank you clip, just about anything that shows their (or your) appreciation.  Please send to our email at wakeforestmiddleptsa@gmail.com or post to our Facebook page Wake Forest Middle School PTSA or tag us on Instagram @wfms_ptsa.
