Good afternoon, WFMS families,

 

Summer Hours

The WFMS office hours will be from 8am - 3pm during the summer. If you need support, please call the main office at 919-554-8440 as we have limited staff available during the summer. We ask for your patience as we respond to calls coming in during this time. Please note that teachers will be out during this time and may not respond to emails.

 

Summer Break 

We hope our students and families have a safe and restful summer break. Be kind, be safe, and enjoy your time off. Good luck to our 8th graders as they move on to high school. For all other students, we look forward to seeing you back on campus in August.

 

Student Intent to Return Form

An email was shared with 6th and 7th grade families last week regarding a Student Intent to Return form for the 25-26. We would like to have as many of our current 6th and 7th grade families as possible complete the form to help us have accurate planning numbers throughout the school year. The form will remain open should your plans change. An update to allow access to the form has been made, so please complete it if you had trouble accessing initially. Thank you.

Final Report Cards

Report cards will be mailed to families next week. This mailing will include EOG scores noting information for any students promoted with interventions. Should you have questions about your child’s report card, please reach out to the main office at 919-554-8440. We anticipate report cards will arrive to families no later than June 30th.

 

8th Graders - Attending Wake Forest H SSave the Date! 

 

Cougar Camp for incoming WFHS freshmen will be August 7th!  

There is a sign up on the WFHS website for the 2025 Cougar Camp.  Please click the link so you can sign up for the session that works best for you that day.  Session 1 will be from 8 am - 11 am and session 2 will be from 1 pm - 4 pm.  This is an event for incoming freshman students to become familiar with the school and get their schedules.  Parents are welcome to come at either 10 am or 3 pm to attend their own parent session to get important information about what to expect this year!    

 

Counselors’ Corner

We wish all our families a happy, healthy summer with some time for rest and relaxation together. Our mental health team is not available over the summer hours, but our Student Services website can provide some direction for support if you have a need. We look forward to serving you all again in August at the beginning of the next school year. 

 

PTSA Updates 

WFMS PTSA would like to thank all of our families, faculty, and staff for your support this year. At the General Membership meeting on June 10, the following slate of officers were elected for the 25-26 school year:

WFMS parents, our PTSA is still in need of help with Staff Appreciation and School Store next school year. Please email wakeforestmiddleschoolptsa@gmail.com if you can help! If we do not have any volunteers to run these programs, they may not happen next year.
