Office Waiting Area Procedures

We are making a small change to help cut down on office area traffic. If you check out your child or are waiting to speak to someone after signing in, please move to the new lobby area to wait. We are trying to cut down on office congestion and keep the office clear in order to receive, treat and care for children and additional adults. Thank you for your help!

Class Dojo/ Discipline Updates

Class Dojo will be used consistently by each grade level. However, we will not be taking away points as in previous years. This practice does not motivate nor give the whole picture of your child’s day at school. Class Dojo procedures for your child’s class will be communicated to you within the first two weeks of school. Please know that we are working to build a school family within each classroom. We are all learning and adopting Conscious Discipline practices as a school. If you are interested in learning more, please check out the parent portal here. We will be keeping you updated as we learn together to support each child’s social emotional health.

Our school theme this year is Doing Whatever it Takes to Elevate Instruction! You will see lots of mountains, rocks and inspirational items all around our school building to keep this idea to the forefront. Start brainstorming with your child about a design to create on paper to enter our annual yearbook cover design contest with great ideas to match our theme!

We have so many wonderful things to share with you over the next few weeks but first, thank YOU for sharing your most prized and special gift with us on Monday!

See you soon!
