Principal Peckham's Weekly Message

Greetings Martin Middle School families,

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and is ready for another full week. Below I have provided you some information to get you ready for what is coming up.

Fall Fundraiser!

Thank you so much to all of our families and community members for your donations to our Fall Fundraiser last week. It was an intense competition for free seating and the Penny War ended Friday with our 6th graders victorious. All our 6th graders will have free seating the week of October 29th.  Our online and carpool donations brought us up to just about $30,000- which is an amazing amount! We are about $10,000 from our ambitious goal, so just in case anyone still hasn’t made their donation or is willing to give a little more, we will be accepting until Wednesday. To sweeten the pot just a bit, we have one last incentive to offer:

For of the bucket next Friday at lunch.each grade level that hits another $2000 by next Wednesday- their grade level admin will pull a "prank" out of the bucket on Friday.

Pranks that will be in the bucket include: pie in the face, duct tape to the wall, crazy costume to wear all day

Also, If we hit our goal of $40,000, Ms. Peckham and select staff will dance out on the roof in carpool one day the following week and we will bring back the "carpool crazies" for one final dance party on Halloween morning.

Parents and family members can continue to donate by using the link below or submitting cash or checks to the PTA box in the front office until Wednesday.

Click here to donate online. (or go to the PTA website link on the Martin homepage.)

Thank you so  much again for all of your support- we promise to put it all to excellent use for our students- starting right away.

Dress up to show support for Bullying Prevention Month & Unity Day!

To bring awareness to Bullying Prevention Month and celebrate Unity Day staff and students are encouraged to wear ORANGE Wednesday, October 24th.
