Principal's Weekly Message 5-2

Hello this is Kathryn Hutchinson, principal at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School, with your weekly message. This message can be found on our website.

This week is an opportunity for our students and community to recognize our staff for Teacher Appreciation week. As this year has been unlike any other and our teachers have continued to remain dedicated for our students and their learning and growth, I want to encourage our students and families to take the opportunity to pause and recognize these hard-working folks. Notes and emails can brighten anyone’s day as well as any treats you can offer. Our PTSA has ideas posted on their website to help as well as opportunities to sign up for treats. Thank you for that consideration in this moment of the school year.

This Thursday is our Welcome to the Pack event from 5:30 to 6:30. We look forward to welcoming our newest students to Centennial Campus Magnet school virtually. If you have younger siblings planning to join us this next year, we encourage you to join us and say hello to our faculty.

Please mark ahead that our next Night of eXcellence, celebrating our students’ work in their elective classes will be May 20th. While this event is virtual, it is an opportunity to celebrate our students in their growth in the X House. Students are currently finishing projects for this event.

This week is another full week of school as our next Asynchronous day is not until Wednesday, May 12th.  Continue to support your students to stay focused and take every opportunity to complete work and ensure they are staying engaged in learning. All grades have been updated this past Friday in Powerschools.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where we H.O.W.L. with Red Wolf Pride. Have a great week. Stay well and stay safe.
