Principal's Weekly Message 2-21

We look forward to welcoming our Cohort C/3 students back to campus this week. Students should remember to bring their charged technology with them to campus.

Our PTSA wants to offer to support our students as they return to the building by ensuring everyone has supplies and is asking for your help. Follow the link on the PTSA website to our Amazon Wishlist, make your purchase, and the much-needed supplies will be sent directly to our school.  Thank you for any support you can offer our students.

Looking forward to this week. We have a district scheduled asynchronous day for Wednesday. We are very excited to share that our students will participate in Career Day. Each grade level has a little bit different of experiences on that day. Be sure to have your student visit each class and participate in this virtual event. Our 8th grade experience will be aligned with a district wide event coordinated by the School to Career Specialist.

Thank you to our families on your return in following all guidance and safety protocols including having your student remain in the car before they complete their health screening.

It is important to note that our arrival time is 7:05 to 7:30. Students need to be in the building and ready for Pack time at 7:30. If you arrive after this time, you must remain in the car and call the school office to request someone to come out and complete the health screening.

Remember to turn your heat down in the car before you drive up for the screening on cooler mornings as it could impact the process and potentially take longer for arrival to be processed.

Also a reminder that our dismissal begins promptly at 2:15 and it is important to be on campus at that time to pick up your student if they are carpooling.

Another reminder for our new Cohort joining us this week, students who ride the bus need to complete the Transportation Attestation form.

All students must have a completed Accountability Plan and required Health Protocol form as well on their return to the building.

A reminder that Intramurals face to face will begin on March 2nd. The health forms must be submitted to Coach Herring by the 1st of March to attend. Students have this week to complete these forms. For more information on intramurals please see our website. This includes the health and safety protocols as well. Only students attending their cohort week can participate. In the meantime, remember that we offer a virtual sports club for students as well.

Again this week, all clubs will continue virtually only.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where we H.O.W.L. with Red Wolf Pride. Have a great week. Stay well and stay safe.
