Principal's Weekly Message 3-1

Hello this is Kathryn Hutchinson principal at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School calling with your weekly message. This message can be found on our website along with our Learning Snapshot.

Thank you to everyone who came out on Tuesday for our PTSA collaborative with our Student Support Staff for a great evening of learning technology safety. It is always great to come together to eat and be a part of our community.

I also want to thank everyone for your support of our Book Fair. This is one way that our media center builds the book offerings. Our students enjoy being in our media center and discovering new books. This book fair and your support is one way to support this space.

This week is our last week of this quarter. Please support your student to stay strong and focused. There will be several assessments finishing up. Our seventh graders will participate in a performance task assessment on Wednesday.

Tuesday is Election Day. I want to remind everyone to take the opportunity to share with your student the importance of voting and even try to bring them with you for this exercise in democracy. This is an opportunity to help grow our leaders in seeing how leadership can be selected.

Our school site is an election site for voting. All voters enter and exit the building from the same location by the gym and are not allowed access to any other part of the building.

On Wednesday, our schools will all participate in the statewide Severe Weather emergency drill. Safety is our priority and this is an important drill for all students to understand.

All students will track out for two weeks this Friday. We will see everyone back together on March 23rd.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where we H.O.W.L. with Red Wolf Pride. Have a great week!
