Principal's Message 11-4

Thank you to the many families helping us in the effort to make attendance a priority. If you are in carpool, you might notice a new sign our Student Support Service team is sharing with the daily data on how we are doing as a school community in our commitment to on time attendance in order to help our students growth in learning. Please note that we ask that parents bring your students in to check them in if they are here at school after 7:30. Every moment counts in learning for EVERY student. If you are finding some challenges with attendance, please reach out to your child’s school counselor for their support.

I would like to celebrate that we had 118 students with perfect attendance the first quarter and 54 students who were also on time to school every day! Let’s grow those numbers together!

Please note that our PTSA newsletter was sent out this past week. Please check it out for all the information including the No Fuss Fundraiser we are in the midst of. Every coin counts to helping support the learning and community of Centennial. Your student carried home a letter with more information on this opportunity.

You can find this letter and all information on the PTSA website linked to our website. Including the opportunity to sign up for the next Teacher Treat Cart help! We appreciate everyone and their support and care for ALL students.

Please be reminded looking ahead this week that Election Day is Tuesday. Students have a two-hour delay on Tuesday, November 6. I encourage our families to vote and bring your student with you as this is an important opportunity to show the democratic process in action.

Our school is a voting site. Please note that voters can only enter the voting site from the side door directly by the gym. Parking might become an issue on this day.

Thank you for your support of Centennial Campus Magnet where we H.O.W.L. with Red Wolf Pride. Have a great week!
