Congratulations to senior Latin IV Honors student Renna Farthing: Renna has qualified to compete for one of 16 national scholarships for winning a gold medal on the Advanced Prose Level of the 2025 National Latin Exam! Well done!

 

AP Exams Begin on Monday, May 5.  Go HERE for the schedule.

Important Reminders:

• Students must bring their fully charged school-issued Chromebook to test
• Students should bring their charger cord
• Students should make sure they have been practicing how to use Bluebook for testing
• Students MUST know their College Board Login Information-The test proctor will NOT have this information
• Students will receive an email to their School Email the day before their test with location and start time reminders
• Students are not required to attend any of their classes on Exam day

 

Advisory Schedule for May due to AP exams:

• We will not meet in Advisory on May 7 and May 14.  Advisory will resume on May 21. 
• Seniors will have a mandatory graduation meeting in the Auditorium during Advisory on May 21. 
• May 28 will be the final Advisory meeting for all grade levels this school year.

 

LRHS PTSA NEWS:

Teacher Appreciation Week: Say thanks with a gift donation!

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is next week. In addition to the daily treats planned for the week, the PTSA is also collecting monetary donations towards gift cards for the ENTIRE staff.  This collection will be for teachers as well as the appreciated, yet sometimes overlooked, staff members like specialists, admin, office staff, custodians, and cafeteria workers. If you are able, please consider making a donation through GiftCrowd.

**Donations will be collected until Friday, May 9, at 10:00 am.  It is recommended you not click "Notifications" unless you want to be emailed when each staff member receives and opens their gift. There are over 150 staff members.**

 

Senior Sign Update & Additional Orders

All senior signs ordered by April 4 are ready for pick up in the front office.  You must sign that you picked up your sign and the yard stake.

Did you miss the deadline to order a senior sign?  We have a limited number of non-personalized "Proud Family of a LRHS Graduate" signs available to order.  These will be sold on a first come first serve basis.  ORDER HERE. You will be notified when you can pick up your sign.

 

LRHS Pride Athletic Club (PAC) Announcement:

Join us for our next meeting on Monday, May 12, at 6:30 pm in the Murphy Building. This meeting will include the 2025-2026 Board member elections.
