Principal's Weekly Message - 12/9/2019
Greetings,
This is Ian Solomon, Principal of Leesville Road High School sharing the latest news and upcoming events.
Lunch Reminders
I want to remind students who leave campus for lunch that behavioral expectations still apply while off-campus. If you are a student who leaves campus during lunch and you are walking it is important that you respect the property of homeowners and not trespass as you are going to your destination. You are also reminded that you must have a valid lunch pass to leave campus for lunch. I want to also take the opportunity to make sure parents and students alike are aware that orders from Grubhub, UberEats, etc. are not allowed during lunch time on campus. Parents are free to drop lunch off for students as always.

Athletics – Week of December 9
Congratulations to our football and cheerleading teams for their championship caliber performances this weekend. Friday night, the football team defeated Wake Forest High School 21-10 for a berth in Saturday’s state championship game in Kenan Stadium on the campus of UNC- Chapel Hill. Game time is 3 pm. On Saturday at the Raleigh Convention Center, our Varsity Cheerleaders placed 2nd statewide in the Co-ed Division. Our Junior Varsity cheerleaders finished 3rd overall in the Small Junior Varsity division. A job well done.
