Principal's Weekly Message 5/13/2019

Greetings,

This is Ian Solomon, Principal of Leesville Road High School sharing the latest news and events.

Scholarship and Military Recognition

Seniors who have been offered scholarships or are planning to serve in the military are recognized at the Senior Assembly. In order for this to happen, seniors need to submit their information. Seniors can include all scholarships they have been offered, even those to a school they are not planning to attend or a scholarship they are not going to accept.  For scholarships, we will need a copy of their scholarship award letter. For military service, we will need documentation of their enlistment. There is a scholarship/military form posted on the school’s website. The deadline to submit this information to Student Services is May 29.

Class of 2019 Survey and Final Transcripts

The Senior Survey has been posted on the school's website. The survey needs to be completed by every senior. The focus of the questions relates to final transcripts and other post high school plans.  Final Transcripts will be sent by the Student Services Office to the college or university the senior lists on the survey.   Seniors can edit their responses until June 11.  After June 11, seniors will need to contact the Student Services Office for any updates. Final transcripts are sent around the 3rd week of June. Seniors may stop by the Student Services office until the end of June and pick up an unofficial copy of their transcript.  Parents may not pick this up if their student is 18. Starting July 1, graduated seniors must request transcripts through the following website:  https://wcpss.scriborder.com/.
