Because we want to keep you informed, I would like you to be aware of an incident that we’ve been investigating today. 

All students are safe. This morning, we were made aware of a threat made against our school. We immediately contacted the WCPSS Security Department and law enforcement. They are both currently investigating the threat. We are adjusting lunch schedules to accommodate the investigation.

While incidents like this are typically a hoax, we take them seriously. Please take time to talk to your child about the importance of reporting any threats to a school administrator immediately. Make them aware that making a hoax threat has serious consequences including criminal prosecution and suspension from school.

Know that we will continue to take every measure to ensure the safety of our students including increased police and security presence at our school today. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our front office.
