After-School Playground REMINDERS
We love seeing students and families enjoying time together after school! To ensure everyone’s safety and maintain a respectful environment, please review and follow these important reminders:
-
Dismissal Cards Required: Students are dismissed only when a walkers card is shown to a staff member. Need a replacement? Visit the front office with a valid photo ID.
-
Supervision Is a Must: Students must remain within sight of their supervising adult at all times and follow all behavior and campus care expectations.
-
Playground Access: After school, students may play only on the K–2 playgrounds. The cafeteria lawn and ceremonial front entrance are off limits.
-
Clean Up: Please help students remember to take all belongings and trash when leaving.
-
Respect the Space: Digging holes, disturbing mulch, picking leaves, and climbing trees or structures not meant for climbing are not allowed.
-
Play Safely: Balls may be thrown, but sticks and rocks may not. The slide is for one-way use—top to bottom only.
-
Walking Home: 4th and 5th graders with a pink walkers card may walk home independently. They may not remain on campus unsupervised. Violating this rule may result in the loss of this privilege.
Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe, clean, and welcoming for all!
📣Last day to provide Feedback!
Helping students thrive takes teamwork—and your voice matters! From April 7 to May 16, we're inviting all parents and caregivers to complete our family survey. Your honest and thoughtful responses will guide us in making your child’s school experience the best it can be.
Please remember:
-
Complete the survey once for each school where you have a child enrolled.
-
If you have multiple children at the same school, you only need to complete it once.
🚗 End-of-Year Arrival & Dismissal Reminders
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued support in keeping arrival and dismissal safe and smooth. Please remember that arrival and dismissal routines remain unchanged and are more important than ever.
Key Reminders:
-
Continue to follow all carpool procedures in the morning and afternoon.
-
Remain at the entrance until 8:45 AM for morning drop-off and 3:30 PM for afternoon pick-up.
-
Our carpool line moves efficiently—please do not break the line.
-
Any transportation changes must be made before 3:00 PM.
(The office is closed from 3:30–4:15 PM during dismissal.)
Thank you for your attention to these important procedures and for helping us end the year strong!
End-of-Grade Testing Reminder for Grades 3–5
Mark your calendars! End-of-Grade (EOG) testing for students in grades 3–5 is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 through Thursday, June 5. Our students and teachers have been working hard all year, and this is their time to shine! Please help us create a calm, focused environment by ensuring your child is well-rested, arrives on time, and is ready to do their best each day. Your support makes a big difference—thank you for all you do!
Walker Families
As a friendly reminder, I ask our walker families and those who stay after school to socialize to please be mindful of where you park. A homeowner on Valley View has expressed concerns about cars parking on both sides of the street, leading to traffic congestion, blocked driveways, and even minor accidents.
Wiley is part of a larger community, and it’s important that we show kindness, empathy, and respect to our neighbors. To help keep our students safe and traffic flowing smoothly, please park on only one side of Valley View moving forward.
Thank you for your cooperation and for being a wonderful part of our Wiley community!

Calling All High Schoolers! Help Wiley and Earn Service Hours
Do you have a high schooler or know one in need of service hours? Wiley PTA is launching a Junior Sustainability Committee this spring! We’re inviting high school students to help with grounds work at Wiley every weekend in April and early May, with two-hour volunteer shifts available. It’s a great way for older students to give back to their elementary roots—plus it helps keep our campus looking beautiful for our Wiley students!
Know a teen who may be interested? Share this opportunity and sign up here.

Please check out the current Lost and Found inventory. You may claim your item in the cafeteria. Please remember to label your child's belongings to help us return them to their rightful owners. Let’s keep our Lost and Found clear!
