Principal's Message 10-17-22
Greetings,
Our condolences go out to any families impacted by last week’s senseless acts. When faced with any crisis, we are encouraged to create a safe space for students to feel seen and heard while maintaining a sense of stability. There is no better time than now to come together and show kindness. Linked here is a resource for talking to your child about Violence. Talking to Children About Violence: Tips for Parents and Teachers. (2022)
Kindness Awareness and Unity
All month long, Wiley will continue to promote kindness and inclusion. We believe that kindness is contagious and when we focus more on what we want versus what we do not want, great things happen! Continue to partner with us as we consider new and creative ways to spread kindness. On Wednesday, October 19 we will recognize Unity Day by wearing orange. This day is dedicated to kindness, acceptance, and inclusion, along with sending a visible message that no child should experience bullying.
