New STEM-Focused Drone Program for 9th and 10th Grade Students With Autism; Open Houses Oct. 2 and 7

Open houses for N.C. State’s Catalyst Program for 9th and 10th grade students with Autism will be held on Oct. 2 (in-person) and Oct. 7 (virtual). The open houses are specifically for students who are interested in drones or learning about future STEM careers. Register for an open house.

 

This program is called Connecting Students with Autism to Geographic Information Science & Technology. Do you want your 9th or 10th grader to experience an exciting voluntary research program that can prepare them for future careers in STEM, all for free? If so, then this program is for you.

 

Students receive a $200 annual stipend, introduction to drone piloting, virtual reality computer simulation training and more.
