Feb. 26, 2020

Catalyst InvenTeam members work in the lab

High school students with any disability who are interested in STEM careers are invited to learn more about the national award-winning Catalyst InvenTeam.

Students participate in research, engineering design, labs and other hands-on activities, and Catalyst also helps students secure paid STEM internships. There are two summer camp sessions June 15-19 and July 12-17, as well as 8 Saturday sessions through the year. Participants must be on track for a high school diploma, in AP, Honors, Regular Education or OCS Program.

Joann Blumenfeld, a teacher at Broughton High School, is founder and program director. Interested students should contact her at jblumenfeld@wcpss.net or 919 633-3120.
