EOG’s are here- schedule changes school-wide

Our third, fourth, and fifth graders are getting ready to show what they know on the EOG’s. Please note that on June 12th and June 17th there will be schedule changes for the entire school to accommodate testing. Students will be eating in their classrooms, so please do not plan to come and visit for lunch on those dates. Thank you for your understanding and support!

 

EOG homework for our 3rd 4th and 5th grade students 

We are now in the last few days before testing and it is imperative that you use your time wisely this weekend. Please complete as many of these as possible:

• Go on a bike/scooter ride

• Read a book for pleasure

• Smile a lot

• Eat some ice cream

• Spend time with the people you love

• Laugh so hard that your tummy hurts

• Go outside and play

• Go for a swim or a walk

• Rest

• Hang out with your friends

• Remind yourself of how much you have learned and grown this year and that as long as you try your very best, you’ve got this!

• Don’t stress or worry about the test- you are so much more than a test score and we are already proud of you!

 

Summer luau

Thank you to our PTA and all of the volunteers who made Friday nights summer luau such a wonderful event! If you are a raffle winner and you were not present at the drawing, you will be contacted with details on how to claim your prize.

 

Turbo Trailblazer Run Club

Congratulations to our Turbo Trailblazer run club members for completing the Run the Quay 5k on Saturday. We are so proud of you!

 

Jersey Mike's Fundraiser June 9-13 - Jersey Mike's is hosting a fundraiser the week of June 9-13 for Banks! Info flyers and free sandwich cards will come home in Friday Folders, and free sandwich cards will be passed out at the Summer Luau. Redeem free sandwich cards with a donation to Banks during the week of June 9-13 at the Jersey Mike's by Food Lion.

June 26th- last day for students and 5th grade car parade (10:00 AM)

June 27th and June 30th- EOG retesting for select students

Nuestros alumnos de tercero, cuarto y quinto grado se están preparando para demostrar lo que saben en los exámenes de fin de grado. Tengan en cuenta que en12 y 17 de junioHabrá cambios de horario en toda la escuela para adaptarnos a los exámenes. Los estudiantes comerán en sus aulas, así que les pedimos que no vengan a almorzar en esas fechas. ¡Gracias por su comprensión y apoyo!

 

Tarea de fin de grado para nuestros estudiantes de 3.º, 4.º y 5.º grado

Estamos a pocos días de las pruebas y es fundamental que aproveches tu tiempo este fin de semana. Por favor, completa la mayor cantidad posible de estas preguntas:

• Ir a un paseo en bicicleta/scooter

• Leer un libro por placer

• Sonríe mucho

• Come un poco de helado

• Pasa tiempo con las personas que amas

• Ríete tanto que te duela la barriga

• Sal y juega afuera

• Ir a nadar o caminar

• Descansar

• Pasa el rato con tus amigos

• ¡Recuérdate cuánto has aprendido y crecido este año y que, si haces tu mejor esfuerzo, lo lograrás!

• No te estreses ni te preocupes por el examen: ¡eres mucho más que un puntaje de examen y ya estamos orgullosos de ti!

 

Luau de verano

¡Gracias a nuestra Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA) y a todos los voluntarios que hicieron del luau de verano de los viernes por la noche un evento maravilloso! Si eres ganador de la rifa y no asististe al sorteo, nos pondremos en contacto contigo para informarte sobre cómo reclamar tu premio.

 

Club de corredores Turbo Trailblazer

¡Felicitaciones a los miembros de nuestro club de corredores Turbo Trailblazer por completar la carrera Run the Quay 5k el sábado! ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de ustedes!

 

Recaudación de fondos de Jersey Mike del 9 al 13 de junioJersey Mike's organiza una recaudación de fondos para Banks la semana del 9 al 13 de junio. Se enviarán folletos informativos y tarjetas de sándwich gratis en las carpetas de los viernes, y se entregarán tarjetas de sándwich gratis en el Luau de verano. Canjee tarjetas de sándwich gratis con una donación a Banks durante la semana del 9 al 13 de junio en Jersey Mike's de Food Lion.
