I am delighted to announce our second annual Apex Town Hall Art Show, featuring Lufkin Road Middle School student artworks. The show is now up and running through September 30, 2023, open to the public on weekdays from 8am until 5pm. Don’t miss your chance to experience this exciting art installation of nearly 80 pieces in the spacious town hall lobby.

In addition, Mayor Jacques Gilbert and the Town of Apex are graciously hosting a student artist reception at Town Hall on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 exclusively to congratulate participating Lufkin artists from 4:45 - 5:45 pm in the Town Hall Lobby. The event is scheduled ahead of their regular board meeting so distinguished representatives from both Apex and Wake County Schools may personally celebrate all of our Lufkin students, families and staff. 

So drop in between 4:45pm – 5:45pm August 22nd if you can to mingle with and to support all our student artists and community leaders, enjoy refreshments, and view a variety of media – from photography to barn quilts, drawings and paper-mache masks. Lufkin is excited to partner with the Town of Apex to promote the arts in our community.
