September 1, 2023 Explorer Express

Thank you for a great first week of school! We have loved having students back on campus to start the school year! Our cut-off time for early dismissal is 3:15pm. If you need to pick up your child early, please do so prior to this time. Otherwise, please plan to use our normal dismissal.

Carpool Dismissal Thank You and Tips

Thank you for having your number easily displayed and lining up coming from Cary Parkway on Olde Weatherstone Way! When in the carpool lane, please stay in the lane and don’t pull out of line unless directed to do so. Please follow the car ahead of you and pull up behind it. Our dismissal app gives each carpool rider a color which matches our cones based on car order. When students come out, they go to a specific colored cone to meet their cars. If cars get out of line, the cars and cones won’t match. Thank you for your patience these first few weeks as carpool will be slower while our students are still learning this process. Next week, we anticipate it will run slower particularly at the start of the week as we will have all of our kindergartners on campus for the first time.
