Dear WES Families,

We are quickly nearing the end of our school year! Grades 3-5 will begin End of Grade Testing one week from today. If you child has a smart watch please be sure it is left at home on testing days as they are not allowed.

All Library Books Due

All WES library books are due May 26th. Please be sure to check around your homes and car back seats!

Grades 3-5 Remediation and Readministration

Students in Grades 3-5 will take the EOG State Tests at the end of this school year. Should your child meet the criteria for our EOG Remediation and Readministration program you will receive an invitation for your child the week of June 5th. For your planning purposes, the program dates for the end of the school year are: June 12 and 14. Transportation will be provided, and breakfast and lunch will be available. To help in our planning, please complete this form to share your possible interest.

Reminder: Parent Input for 2023-2024 Classroom Placement Due Today

If you would like to provide input for your child’s classroom placement for the next school year, you are encouraged to complete this form. This information should describe the characteristics of the classroom learning environment you think would be best for your child. We will take this information into consideration as class lists are developed. Please do not include teacher names in your letter. Classroom teacher input will also be considered. The deadline to complete this form is today. 

Reminder: Are you Not Returning to WES Next Year?

We are already planning for next year. If you are not planning to attend Weatherstone next year, please complete this intent form.

Book Fair Thank You

Another successful book fair is in the books. We appreciate your patience on Night of the Arts. While the students' shelves are full of new reading material, our hearts are filled with gratitude. Many thanks to Mrs. Reid, Ms. Long and the family volunteers who supported us all week long!

Penny Wars

Congratulations to the 2nd Grade for winning Penny Wars!! The PTA thanks everyone for their participation, and for making it a successful event. The kids had a blast!!
