INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL IS BACK!!!

Thursday, November 17th 5:30-7:30pm

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this fun event! Come learn about India, Poland, Japan, Israel, and many more countries and cultures of our WES families and friends. Please stop by to get your passport, visit the countries for a stamp, and submit your stamped passport for a drawing for free movie tickets! WES students will be performing cultural performances. And, of course, book fair will be open!!

ALL FOR BOOKS/BOOK FAIRY:  Donate to our All For Books fund which collects money to help get books in the hands of as many Weatherstone students as possible.  If you would like to donate to the All for Books program for WES students who can’t afford to purchase a book at the book fair donations can be made to the following eWallet.  While it will state that it is for grade Kindergarten the funds will be used for all students across grade levels at WES.

Weatherstone Food Drive: Monday, Nov. 7- Tuesday, Nov. 22

 

Join WES in giving back to our community this month! We will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local organization’s food pantry to serve families in Wake County.

 

All donations can be sent in with students or dropped off in the front lobby of school during arrival from November 7-22

 

We are collecting non-perishable food items like: boxed cereal, boxed potatoes, boxed macaroni & cheese, canned tuna, canned vegetables, bags of rice, dry pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, boxed stuffing mix, plain oatmeal, jars of gravy, pancake mix, pancake syrup, and cream of mushroom or chicken soup.

CALLING FOR BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS

Lollipops, Gumdrops, and Books Galore; Plenty of Sweet Treats to be found at this years Scholastic Book Store November 7th-18th

Students had the opportunity to create a wish list for this year's Scholastic book fair. Please look for your student(s) wish list so that you can plan accordingly. The week of November 14th students will have an opportunity to shop during their Media Makers special time.

We ask that you set up an eWallet so that students have a contactless way to pay for their books. We will accept cash, credit cards, and checks made out to WES PTA but we strongly encourage you to set up an eWallet to keep contacts at a minimum. Snacks for Students

The WES PTA and WES Students need your help AGAIN! Please help us restock the WES Counselor's pantry with snacks for children who do not have a snack at school.
