Weatherstone Food Drive: Monday, Nov. 7- Tuesday, Nov. 22
Join WES in giving back to our community this month! We will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local organization’s food pantry to serve families in Wake County.
All donations can be sent in with students or dropped off in the front lobby of school during arrival from November 7-22.
We are collecting non-perishable food items like: boxed cereal, boxed potatoes, boxed macaroni & cheese, canned tuna, canned vegetables, bags of rice, dry pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, boxed stuffing mix, plain oatmeal, jars of gravy, pancake mix, pancake syrup, and cream of mushroom or chicken soup.

WES Book Fair
Lollipops, Gumdrops, and Books Galore; Plenty of Sweet Treats to be found at this year's Scholastic Book Store November 7th-18th.
Students will have the opportunity the week of November 7th during specials to preview and create a wish list for this year's Scholastic book fair. Please look for your student(s) wish list so that you can plan accordingly. The week of November 14th students will have an opportunity to shop during their Media Makers special time.
We ask that you set up an eWallet so that students have a contactless way to pay for their books. We will accept cash, credit cards, and checks made out to WES PTA but we strongly encourage you to set up an eWallet to keep contacts at a minimum. ALL FOR BOOKS/BOOK FAIRY: Donate to our All For Books fund which collects money to help get books in the hands of as many Weatherstone students as possible. If you would like to donate to the All for Books program for WES students who can’t afford to purchase a book at the book fair donations can be made to the following eWallet

Weatherstone Yearbook on Sale NOW!
The 2022-23 Weatherstone ES Yearbook is available now to purchase for only $20. This offer is available until December 31, 2022. After Dec. 31, the price of the yearbook increases.

RUNNING CLUB IS BACK!
Families who have signed up are welcome to join us on the track on FRIDAYs from 8:15am-8:45am to run and track your progress towards completing a marathon! Look for more information in your Friday folders. For questions please reach out to Jenny.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Help with the WES Showcase
On Saturday, March 25th from 10:00am-2:00pm, the WES PTA will host the WES Showcase that showcases the WES students and the amazing STEM work they do throughout the year.
