Happy Tuesday Explorers!
We hope everyone had a safe and healthy Memorial Holiday Weekend! While it was not the typical holiday we usually have each May it was nice to take some family time in honor of the sacrifice of our US Military.

End of Year Pick-up Information
Detailed procedures for picking up students items from the school can be found here. Scheduled times for families can be found within that document. Please know that the schedule provided will allow families to make one planned trip to the campus. Each family is assigned a scheduled date and time. The school will reach out to families who do not attend the scheduled time to arrange another date after the schedule is completed.

WES Yearbooks for Sale
We have extra yearbooks available, if you would like to order please use the link below. Yearbooks will be distributed during the pick-up days at WES.
Read books of your choice and read how you choose. Then fill out this Let's Party Remote Learning Reading Challenge form. You only need to fill out the form once a week. Let’s see if we can meet our school's goal of 8,000 books read by June 5th! Look for weekly updates on the Weatherstone Facebook each Friday after the morning news.
5/26: Paper Airplane Tuesday: In honor of national Paper Airplane Day, make your own paper airplane at home and try it out!
5/27: Work Out Wednesday: Do something active today! Go on a walk, play your favorite sport, do jumping jacks, etc. To make it even more fun, wear your favorite sports attire or shirt/jersey of your favorite sports team while working out!
5/28: Career Thursday: Spend today thinking about what future career you may want to have. Talk to your family and research about some ideas. Share your ideas, and for even more fun--dress up as you would for this career!
5/29: Fiction Friday: Take some time to read your favorite book. For extra fun, dress up as your favorite character too!
If your family is in need of technology support please reach out to your child's teacher, Mrs. Whalen (Media Specialist) or Mrs. Zoller (STEM Cooridnator) and they will make sure to help you or your student.

While we don't know what the next school year will look like we want to be prepared. Our PTA is dedicated to supporting our students and teachers through a variety of programs and events.
