WES Remote Learning Updates

National Field Day Friday, May 8th

As we enter a new week of Remote Learning we have a special event plan for this Friday, National Field Day 2020. Here is a note from Coach Mulford:

Hello Weatherstone Students and Parents. Hope you all are enjoying your time together and are healthy. Unfortunately due to school cancellation, we are unable to do our traditional Field Day. The show must still go on!  On Friday, May 8th we are joining many schools across the nation to do a virtual field day. This is a fun way to compete virtually with other students across the globe.  The opening ceremonies will be held on Thursday night at 7:30pm. The links below have all the information you need. Read them over carefully and don’t hesitate to email ( me with any questions. You are allowed to vary the events based on equipment availability or skip events without having it held against you. Make sure you watch the videos in advance and practice the events beforehand. There are a total of 21 events. Do them all or just do a few, but you must do at least 4 to earn a certificate. You may do the events anytime on Friday the 8th. If Friday does not work, you may pick a different day.  Take some picture or videos and post them on twitter using the hashtag #NationaFieldDay. You can also email me the photos/videos as well. Good Luck!!!

Keep Checking back for updates.
